1 Samuel 5:7

SV	Toen nu de mannen te Asdod zagen, dat het alzo [toeging], zo zeiden zij: Dat de ark des Gods van Israel bij ons niet blijve; want Zijn hand is hard over ons, en over Dagon, onzen god.
WLC	וַיִּרְא֥וּ אַנְשֵֽׁי־אַשְׁדֹּ֖וד כִּֽי־כֵ֑ן וְאָמְר֗וּ לֹֽא־יֵשֵׁ֞ב אֲרֹ֨ון אֱלֹהֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ עִמָּ֔נוּ כִּֽי־קָשְׁתָ֤ה יָדֹו֙ עָלֵ֔ינוּ וְעַ֖ל דָּגֹ֥ון אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃
Trans.	wayyirə’û ’anəšê-’ašədwōḏ kî-ḵēn wə’āmərû lō’-yēšēḇ ’ărwōn ’ĕlōhê yiśərā’ēl ‘immānû kî-qāšəṯâ yāḏwō ‘ālênû wə‘al dāḡwōn ’ĕlōhênû:

AC	ז ויראו אנשי אשדוד כי כן ואמרו לא ישב ארון אלהי ישראל עמנו--כי קשתה ידו עלינו ועל דגון אלהינו
ASV	And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us; for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.
BE	And when the men of Ashdod saw how it was, they said, Let not the ark of the God of Israel be with us, for his hand is hard on us and on Dagon our god.
Darby	And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us; for his hand is severe upon us, and upon Dagon our god.
ELB05	Und als die Leute von Asdod sahen, daß dem also war, sprachen sie: Die Lade des Gottes Israels soll nicht bei uns bleiben; denn seine Hand ist hart über uns und über Dagon, unserem Gott.
LSG	Voyant qu'il en était ainsi, les gens d'Asdod dirent: L'arche du Dieu d'Israël ne restera pas chez nous, car il appesantit sa main sur nous et sur Dagon, notre dieu.
Sch	Als aber die Leute von Asdod sahen, daß es also zuging, sprachen sie: Laßt die Lade des Gottes Israels nicht bei uns verbleiben; denn seine Hand ist zu hart über uns und unserm Gott Dagon!
